This project involved leading the creation of a 3-hour course for Humans of Bombay, centered on helping individuals craft and share their personal stories. The course featured Karishma Mehta and was designed to feel authentic, emotionally resonant, and visually compelling.
From ideation to final output, this was a creatively rich project that combined storytelling aesthetics with thoughtful instructional design.
Background:
Humans of Bombay is a platform known for capturing powerful personal narratives. The goal of this course was to pass on that storytelling wisdom to others—especially those who want to express themselves, build their voice, or create emotional connections through their content.

Approach:
Course Ideation: Ran multiple brainstorming sessions to design a visual and structural language that complements the course’s emotional depth.
Template Design: Built a clean, elegant video template with:
Subtle background shades for visual comfort
Typography chosen for readability, even in longer segments
Minimalist styling to let the story shine
Storyboarding: Structured each module with clarity—highlighting key moments, takeaways, and supporting visuals.
Visual Enhancements: Used Adobe Express to generate custom illustrations for real-life examples, making abstract ideas tangible and relatable.
Execution: Edited and refined all video content, ensuring visual consistency, smooth transitions, and a balanced pacing across all lessons.
Outcome:
The course received positive feedback for its emotional tone, clarity, and engaging design
Participants appreciated the visual storytelling and how it enhanced their understanding of the course
